On August 29, 2017 in the framework of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Dr. Hamrokhon ZARIFI visited the famous Tokyo Fuji Art Museum, which is located near the Soka University.
During the visit, the Ambassador of Tajikistan held meeting with the Chairman of the Museum, Mr. Kazuhiko Oshida and the Director of the Museum, Mr. Akira Gokita.
The sides exchanged views on building cultural exchanges through holding a joint event with the participation of artists from the two countries.
They also had a useful exchange of views on the rich culture and ancient history of the Tajik people.
During the tour of the museum, the Ambassador of Tajikistan acquainted with paintings and artifacts of the eastern gallery and foreign art.
Tokyo Fuji Art Museum was founded in 1983, it works closely with famous museums of the world, annually organizes large exhibitions both in Japan and abroad.
