On March 5, 2019, in the framework of its official visit to Japan the Parliamentary Delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan has met with the Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament of Japan, Mr. Tadamori Oshima.
Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament of Japan Mr. Tadamori Oshima has expressed satisfaction with the level of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan and praised the contribution of the visit of the parliamentary delegation of Tajikistan to the development of bilateral friendly relations between the parliaments of the two countries.
Mr. Olim Salimzoda, head of the parliamentary delegation of Tajikistan, expressing gratitude to the Speaker of the Lower House of the Parliament of Japan Mr. Tadamori Oshima, underlined the importance of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation, and also touched upon the issue of establishment of centers of excellence, including the Center for the Development of Human Capital of Japan in Tajikistan. He also proposed to consider the possibility of providing direct yen loans for the implementation of economic projects in Tajikistan.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Japan Mr. Mirzosharif Jalolov also attended the meeting. The meeting was held in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
