On March 5, 2019, in Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Parliamentary Delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan has met with Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency Ms. Noriko Suzuki.
During the meeting, the Parliamentary Delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan and Ms. Suzuki Noriko exchanged views on the level of bilateral relations between the countries, reviewing and implementation process of joint projects with participation of the Government of Japan in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Mr. Olim Salimzoda, head of the parliamentary delegation of Tajikistan, expressing gratitude to leadership of JICA, underlined the importance of realization of untapped potential of bilateral cooperation in important sectors of Tajikistan, and in general, for the effective of implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan — 2030.
The meeting was held in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
On the same day, the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan visited the Edo Tokyo Museum and Tokyo SkyTree in order to familiarize themselves with the history, civilization, culture and achievements of the Edo Period and tourism opportunities of the country.
